Camp Evergreen

Structure

The daily structure of Camp Evergreen is designed to facilitate new experiences as well as allowing the time for campers to pursue their personal interests. Our goal with this structure is to help children gain independence, develop new skills, and of course, to have a fun while doing it.

Daily Schedule
Every day at camp offers opportunities for campers to try new things, make lasting memories, and forge friendships. The schedule changes daily to create a well-rounded and engaging program.  Here's what a typical day looks like:

  • Morning Kickoff: After the morning flagpole, each tent follows their assigned schedule, which include both specialist lead and counselor lead activities.

  • Lunch Break: Lunch is at noon. Campers should bring their own lunch, which will be safely stored in their cabin until it’s time to refuel.

  • Afternoon Free Choice: In the afternoon, campers come together with their unit at their designated meeting spot for Free Choice time. This is a fantastic opportunity for campers to explore their interests, meet new friends, and enjoy activities alongside peers from other tents within their unit.

  • Swim Time: Water fun is a daily highlight! Each tent has a scheduled swim session that includes both instructional swim and free swim, offering opportunities to learn, play, and cool off.

  • End-of-Day Flagpole: The day wraps up with the closing flagpole ceremony, where campers are dismissed for pickup, extended day care, or transportation.
